Transcripts

The Ministry of Education has set up an online application form to allow students to view their school marks, scholarships and transcript as well as send transcripts electronically to Post-Secondary Institutions (PSI) of their choosing.

Students may make up to 25 selections free of charge within six months after completing their last course.  After six months, students will be charged $10 per transcript, payable on the StudentTranscripts Service.

An official transcript is a document that lists of all the Grade 10-12 courses and programs you have taken, grades earned, honours received, graduation assessment results and graduation status under the B.C. Graduation Program. It will not show courses you have failed or have been withdrawn from as a result of not completing the course.

All students should complete this process by April 30th  so your Post-Secondary Institution (PSI) can download your interim marks.

How do I order my high school transcripts?

You can order your BC high school transcript at:  https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/education-training/k-12/support/transcripts-and-certificates?keyword=transcripts

Troubleshooting:

Students are responsible for the accuracy of your transcript.

  • Students will want to verify and check the accuracy of their transcript.  Please go over your transcript and verify that all of your courses are on it.
  • You will also want to make sure that your name matches the Ministry information so use your full legal name, including middle name(s).  You cannot use nicknames.
  • If you notice any errors on your transcript, contact your School of Record immediately.  If changes have to be made to your transcript, you may need to have the updated transcript sent to your Post-Secondary Institution(s) (PSIs).

In July: Students who have completed graduation requirements will normally receive their transcript at the end of July.

  • You will receive one copy of your transcript at no charge. If you want to send your transcript to a number of different PSIs for free, be sure to register on the StudentTranscripts Service.
  • Transcripts are mailed to the student address provided by the school of record (so be sure to update your address with your school if you move!)
  • Dogwood Diplomas are mailed  to school board offices for distribution to students who have met graduation requirements.
  • Revised transcripts are produced on a weekly basis during August and September.
