SIDES Application

Please note: During the summer months, SIDES experiences an unusually large volume of registrations. It may take 10-15 business days to process your application. Thanks for your understanding and patience!

Registration Requirement

• Before filling out the application you must have your documents ready to submit into our Document Portal.
  
  
• The Ministry requires TWO pieces of ID. One Proof of Citizenship (in the student's name) and one Proof of BC Residency (for students under 19, the Proof of BC Residency must be in the parent/guardian name). Please review which documents will be accepted in our Document Portal.
  
  
• Your application will not be processed without the necessary documents.
  
  
• If you are applying for a course and you are already enrolled in that course elsewhere, please withdraw first. We are not permitted to enroll you in any courses which you are currently taking at another school.

Technology Requirement

• Internet access is required. Students are encouraged to have a computer or laptop. Phones or tablets may not be sufficient.
  
  
• Different courses have different tech requirements and may include:
  - access to a printer and a scanning app to upload assignments
  - a web camera for courses with proctored exams

Welcome Email

• Once your application is submitted you will receive a Welcome Email within the hour. If you do not receive this email, please check your Spam or Junk folders.
