Description
Earth Science 11 is an introductory course that explores the Earth's composition, structure, processes, and history; its atmosphere, fresh water, and oceans; and its environment in space. Students are encouraged to look at earth science from both a personal and worldly perspective, and analyze the social implications of the topics covered. Topics include an exploration of the major cycles that affect every aspect of life including weather, climate, and air movement, tectonics, volcanic eruptions, rocks, minerals, geologic history, the earth’s environment, sustainability and energy resources.

Grading: Each paper is worth 4% of your grade. Each test is worth 12%.
