Literacy Foundations Math Level 5
Teacher(s)
Mark Swiednicki
Description
This is the last of three courses that has been designed for students who want to upgrade their Math skills. This course has five units and covers learning outcomes related to integers, order of operations, factors and multiples, fractions, algebra, measurement, and relationships. These three LF Math courses intend to take students from a beginning numeracy level up to the equivalent of a Grade 9 level.
Face-to-face or Zoom conversations will be part of the expectations for this course. This will start with the first interview but please understand that you will be asked to meet several times while you are in the course. This could be to clarify a solution on a test, get some support for your learning or present part of a project.
Upon successful completion of LF Math Level 5, students will be able to discuss with our counsellor the appropriate subsequent Math course.
