Description
The aim of Physical and Health Education 10 is to enable all students to enhance their quality of life through active and healthy living. Through daily physical activity and health lessons, students will build knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to make lifelong active and healthy living choices. Health lessons will focus on such topics as nutrition, substance abuse, mental health, relationships, sexual health and self-protection.
Students will participate in a variety physical activities and work through either a structured 18-week course or take a self-paced path. There are also three fitness tests that are designed to help students set fitness goals and track their improvements throughout the course.
